Yesterday I attended the Laura Mercier & Harvey Nichols event, with Makeup by Mario - Kim Kardashian's personal makeup artist! The event, which took place in The Curtain Hotel, London allowed us to see Mario in action, using all Laura Mercier products.
Mario first began with the eyes. Concealing the base for a nice clean start, he then opted for cream eyeshadows as it blends better (Caviar Sticks). He said he always sets a cream shadow with powder in order for it to have a long lasting effect.
After cleaning away any fallout from the shadow, he used the Flawless Lumiere Foundation on the base all over starting with a brush and finishing with a sponge.
Once adding the Secret Camouflage Concealer under the eyes (Also good to spot conceal!) as a light base, he added the Flawless Fusion Concealer. This both concealed and brightened the area.
Using the Translucent Loose Setting Powder, he set under the eyes with a small brush and then set the face with a powder puff and the powder.
He added bronzer, blush and a red lip to complete the look.

I didn't think I would get there early enough, however I was one of the lucky ones who did get to take a photo!
